What the EAEU rules require

A local applicant

The declaration or certificate is issued to a company registered in an EAEU country: the manufacturer, the seller or an authorised representative of the foreign manufacturer.

Technical regulations

Each product group has its own regulation, for example TR CU 021/2011 for food, TR CU 009/2011 for cosmetics, TR CU 017/2011 for textiles and leather.

Russian labelling

Product information must be in Russian. Some goods also need digital marking in the Chestny ZNAK system.

Plant and animal health

Plant and animal products may need phytosanitary or veterinary certificates and checks by Rosselkhoznadzor.

Questions

Do you issue the certificate yourselves?

No. Certificates and declarations are issued by accredited certification bodies after tests in accredited laboratories. We prepare the file and coordinate the whole process.

Do I need my own company in Russia?

Not always. The applicant can be your importer or an authorised representative. If you plan regular sales, your own company is often simpler, and we can help with that too.

How long does it take?

Usually 4 to 10 weeks, depending on the product, the tests and the type of document.

Is the document valid outside Russia?

Documents under EAEU technical regulations are valid in all member states: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

We do not issue certificates or act as a law firm. Certification is carried out by accredited certification bodies and laboratories, and legal and accounting work by our partner firms. ONE prepares the files, coordinates the process and stays your single point of contact.
